Hey!

There is a plug-in for xine, enables remote control use. What kind of remote do I need for that ?? Is it a 'normal' remote? Like the one I use for the tv or stereo? It's a laptop, so it has IrDA. Is the remote supposed to use that IrDA?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I take it you're talking about the LIRC plugin for xine. If so, check out http://www.lirc.org/ for info.
