Hi all, Does anyone know how to create an internet webcam under linux? Also Is there a simple way to access the webcam pictures in order to develop my own scripts usign those images?

ok - first go to google.com/linux and search for Webcam or download Xawtv, the latest version contains a working webcam. I have it running on a RH7.3 box using a USB - Connectrix style cam. www.dastekcom.com.au/webcam

http://qce-ga.sourceforge.net/ qce-ga supports various Logitech webcams.

xawtv is a good V4L package, and includes an application called webcam. This can save images locally of ftp them to remote servers - It's fairl;y easily set up with a .webcamrc file in your home directory. Check out the man pages.
