If anyone has had the unfortunate expereince of reading any of the posts by the individual who posts mainly under the moniker of 'Beaver', then you will notice that all of it's posts are decedely derogatory to Linux.
This poster posts outright lies about supposed 'experiences' that it has had with Linux where no one else in this group has either had or heard about similar problems.
The thing is, this poster speaks as if they have actually used Linux, which they haven't.
Besides, this poster is contradicting itself because in it's very first post to this group they said that they supposedly wiped Linux off of their system in lieu of Windows XP.
Besides the fact that this person is undoubtedly outright lying, how is it possible that they are expereincing all of these alleged 'problems' when, by their own admission, they no longer even have Linux installed?
Again, other claims made by this poster, even if they were accurate (which they are not), would indicate a problem with either hardware or user error and not Linux.
This person is obviously lying, has obviously never even used any major modern distro of Linux and is FOS. The reader would do well to ignore this person entirely as they are only seeking to stir up trouble which is the very definition of a troll.
In addtion, this poster is regularly morphing their identity to avoid killfiles and add the the noise ratio, which are pure troll tactics.
This person has -100% credibility and anything that they say should be completely disregarded.
I would suggest that anyone interested in Linux to either purchase a boxed set or download it and give it a try for themselves. Many advocates in COLA and other Linux help groups would be happy to provide any assistance that we could towards this task.
I apologize that everyone has to be exposed to the childish behavior of this and other persons, but as Linux becomes more and more successful, anti-Linux factions will step up their FUD attempts to try and discredit it by any means possible. Sad but true.
