I've been using DSL for about a year, but due to a move, my DSL will be disconnected for about 10 days, and I'm looking for temporary alternatives. Can anybody recommend an inexpensive, Linux-friendly dialup access provider? I want to be able to surf the web, even if it is slow.

TIA!

If you are with SBC, avoid them like the plague. They sub to Prodigy and it took me over a year to get them to stop billing me after I cancelled the account.

As long as you avoid AOL-type outfits that insist on your using their 'portal' bullshit, I have found that most ISPs have no trouble with linux. If you go with a small, local outfit chances are good their servers already run linux, anyway.
